The human body was made for DANCING, not 'couch potatoing’. Instead of wasting quality family time or couple time in front of the TV celebrate it with DANCE as millions of people from every culture on Earth for hundreds of thousands of years have done. Turn OFF the TV. Turn ON some music (any kind will do). Two left feet don't matter when you are alone or with loved ones. Dance anyway. The real point is to be together and have fun.
Family Time
Dancing is great for family time. Imagine your little kids relishing the joy of dancing with some kids music. They are certainly not embarassed as they happily bounce to the music. Imagine your teens showing off their hip hop
moves. Then imagine Mom and Dad teaching the youngsters some 'classic' moves with classic rock
, or country music
, or even religious music
. Maybe Mom and Dad can even explain what records were.
Couple Time
If you have some time alone with your significant other, dancing can be a great way to enhance the relationship. Visualize the stresses of life melting away with fast dance music. Feel your connection with one another deepen as you both dance to romantic music
or some soulful jazz music
. Have fun. The time spent with your significant other is precious.
Alone Time
If you are alone, dancing is great, fun exercise (and no one will see you if you are clumsy). Imagine getting in shape and having fun instead of getting depressed watching the TV.
